About usMy name is Robin Whittington, and I am the owner and operator of Pet Services by Critters' Place. This page has been designed to tell you a little bit about myself. If you are considering my services for taking care of your treasured family pets then you are probably going to want to know as much as you can about me. This page will get you started.
I grew up on a small family farm and have always lived with and loved animals. Even at a young age, I was being equipped to care for animals long term! My love of and interest in animals has led me to work in several animal related fields over the years. I have held positions as:
- a veterinarian assistant
- a kennel manager
- a pet store manager
- the publisher/editor of a small local adoption/rescue magazine.
- a volunteer as a wildlife rehabber
- an owner of a small pet sitting/grooming service in Winston Salem.
My training in the pet care industry is on-going. I graduated from the NanHall Grooming School in Greensboro, NC in 1989. I have also attended Davidson Community College, Davie Campus and have a certificate as a Pet Care Technician. I am constantly updating my skills so that I might give YOUR pet the most up to date and efficient care.
I am a member of the Piedmont Pet Sitters Association, Professional United Pet Sitters, Pet Sitters Association and a represenative for Wishbones for Pets as well as a member of the Davie Business Woman's Association. I am also a member of the Professional Networking Associates.
During any free time I have I enjoy doing container gardening for butterflies and hummers. I enjoy hiking, camping and picnics.
