A Pet's Companion

I am a native Houstonian and grew up in the Richmond/Rosenberg area.  I graduated in 1996 from Wharton County Junior College with an Associates Degree in Sciences specializing in Dental Hygiene.  I have been a Dental Hygienist since 1996.  I decided to go back to school in 2006 to The University of Houston while working full time and pursue my Bachelor of Arts and Sciences Degree.  I majored in Psychology.  I graduated in December 2007. 

My husband and I married in March of 2007 and we have three Yorkies.  It's their world, we just live in it.  My husband and I are involved at our church and enjoy sports, working out, traveling and the outdoors. 

We bred our male and female and had three puppies in January 2007 and sold two.  The runt, "Zoey" (who we kept) was born with bad legs so we decided to keep her.  Long story short, we had to take her to Texas A & M orthopedics and after a long 4 months and  multiple surgeries, she now has three pins in her legs.  Needless to say, you would never think a thing is wrong with her.  We should have named her "Trooper."  She is our bionic dog.  The orthopedic vets said they had never seen a case this severe.  At 3 lbs., she tells her mom and dad what to do.  She wins at tug-of-war all the time.

 With a passion for animals, I want to be able to share the love and devotion that I have for my pets with your's.
