My name is Rene Karapedian and I’m the Founder of the original Pet Rush in Glendale, CA. As a child, I had always dreamed of having my own pet store. I started out as a groomer at a very young age and soon realized it was my calling in life. Pet Rush started out as a 600 square foot groomery and over the next 10 years, with the support of the community, we were able to expand to a much larger location in Kenneth Village. I started offering products to my customers and before I knew it, I had become a pet store owner. As of now, Pet Rush has over 5,000 loyal clients and that’s why we decided it was time to expand, yet again!
Now, I’m excited to announce the grand opening of our second location – Pet Rush Inn, in the heart of Burbank. We offer overnight boarding, daycare, dog and cat sitting, grooming, pet adoption, training, teeth cleaning, veterinary care, low-cost vaccinations, and many more quality and affordable services for your companion!
Because of my passion for animals and involvement for their welfare, I founded the Glendale Animal Welfare & Rescue in 2010. This organization is a non-profit responsible for rescuing over 300 dogs and cats last year. In our care, we rehabilitate each animal and place them into loving forever homes in our communities.
When you choose Pet Rush Inn for boarding and daycare services, 100% of the funds goes to support the Glendale Animal Welfare and Rescue. The money goes towards helping to pay for food, supplies, and the things that we provide to the rescued pets on a daily basis. It will also go to help with animal care staffing, training, veterinary support, and other numerous expenses needed to carry-out the services provided by the rescue. In addition, Pet Rush continually donates 10% of its proceeds to support the Glendale Animal Welfare and Rescue.
