I have been an animal lover my entire life. Growing up I had everything from dogs and cats to ducks and lizards. My parents never knew what they would find next in our house. They never said no and always allowed me to have my pets.
I started out working in a pet shop in Roseville, called The Animal Farm. I loved working there it was a great job and the people I worked for truly loved animals and made sure they had the best care. I always loved going to work. I would bring animals home that were sick and take care of them until they were better and could be brought back to the pet shop. I would also bring home baby animals that needed care. I learned so much from working there and knew that I wanted to go on and learn more and have a career working with animals.
In 1997 I graduated from Globe College with my Associate in Applied Science degree in Veterinary Assistance. I went on to work in small animal clinics. I loved it!!!
My last job was at North Saint Paul Animal Hospital. I worked mainly in the kennel area. I walked, fed, gave baths, cleaned cages, gave meds, took care of post surgical animals, and had many other duties that involved providing care to all the animals that were staying at our clinic.
I also worked at Scenic Hills Animal Hospital and St. Francis Animal and Bird Hospital. At both of these clincs I also provided care to animals staying in the clinic. I assisted with surgeries and took care of post surgical patients, performed dental cleanings, worked in radiology, I also did blood draws and worked with pets that needed fluids and other injections. I did receptionist duties as well so I got to know clients as well as their pets. I really did enjoy all the aspects of working in these clinics.
After having my second son in 2005 I decided to stay home with my kids. I missed working with animals and now I've decided to start my own pet sitting business.
I have years of experience and can give your pet the love and attention they deserve and want while your away.
