Our family has a pet/house sitting business in Frederick and we happily do overnights. We are "Your Paw Squad", which consists of myself, Rhonda, age 51; my husband, Broc, age 44; and our daughter Chris, age 16. Our business is pretty new, but we are not new to animal care. I have an Associate Degree in Animal Sciences and have cared for animals of many kinds since childhood. I am the VP of a non-profit org. that finds permanent, loving homes for retired racing greyhounds, and Chris is a junior Board member for them as well. Chris is very involved in the sport of dog agility and her dogs are her life. She has an Australian Shepherd and 2 Border Collies. Those are her best friends and her agility dogs. One of the Borders is just a little pup so it will be a while before she will be competing.
Broc has also been around animals his entire life. He works from home on his regular job so is available to help Chris and I whenever we need for him to.
We normally charge $55.00 per 24 hour period that one of us stays in your home. This includes care for all of your pets (in home pets, livestock is additional), watering lawn, watering plants, bring in mail, newspapers, scoop litter box for cat(s), etc.We offer a "New Customer" discount of $5.00. Due to the ever increasing cost of fuel, we have been forced to charge a fuel surcharge for addresses over 10 miles from our home. The first 10 miles is free, and the fee is 50 cents per mile from 11 miles on. This is only charged for the 1 drive up to your home, and the drive back home when you get back from your trip. We use Mapquest to determine the exact distance, using the shortest distance method. Our in home consultation is free.

1 home visit (approx. 30 minutes) - $15.00
2 home visits (approx. 30 minutes each) - $28.00
3 home visits (approx. 30 minutes each) - $40.00
Mini Visits
1 home visit (approx. 15 minutes) - $12.00
2 home visits (approx. 15 minutes each) - $22.00
3 home visits (approx. 15 minutes each) - $32.00
We also offer livestock care at the rate of $20.00 per hour. Minimum fee is one hour, than 5 minute increments after the first hour.
